About

Explore historic Christmas traditions through decorated buildings and a stocking trail, with seasonal refreshments, railway rides and a timed Santa visit on the Santa-ticketed option.

The four-day seasonal programme invites visitors to explore traditionally decorated historic homes and follow a stocking trail. The Santa-ticketed option adds a timed visit, a letter to Santa, a gift for each child aged 2–12 and Christmas crafts in Santa’s grotto. Strong Hold Re-enactments Group presents a Medieval Christmas on 5 and 6 December. Adult and child tickets have several published tiers; Santa visit tickets have separate child prices and timed booking slots.
