A sold-out 10k road race from North Shields along the coast past Tynemouth Priory, Spanish City and St Mary's Lighthouse.

The North Tyneside 10k Road Race starts at the Parks Sports Centre in North Shields and heads down to the Fish Quay before winding along the coast, taking in Tynemouth Priory and Castle, the seafront, Spanish City and St Mary's Lighthouse. The race takes place on Sunday 28 March 2027, running from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. It is now sold out, with spaces only released when runners defer their entries.
