About

Child-led Forest School in the woodland, with natural crafts, den building, minibeast searches, mud and sensory play, woodland games and occasional fire cooking.

Sessions are for children aged 2–5 with an accompanying adult. Activities vary week to week and combine guided nature play with time for children to explore at their own pace. Confidently walking children from around 18 months are also welcome. Meet outside the visitor centre about ten minutes before the session. Forest School admission does not include general Arboretum entry.
