Walk on the Wild Side Safari

A guided walk through Knepp’s rewilding project explores free-roaming wildlife and the ecology of the landscape.

An ecologist-led walk through Knepp’s 3,500-acre rewilding project looks for free-roaming longhorn cattle, Exmoor ponies, Tamworth pigs and deer, as well as signs of beaver activity. Guides share bird and habitat observations, and the group stops for refreshments midway. The page describes a three-hour walk with frequent stops over uneven ground.
