Dressmaking 5 Week Course

A five-week dressmaking course at Franklins in Colchester where sewers aged 18+ build skills across five weekly sessions to complete a garment of their choice.

This five-week dressmaking course spreads the making of a garment over five sessions, giving time to perfect each step and practise new skills between classes. Participants choose their own project — from party dresses to dungarees — and machines, scissors, pins, tape measures and refreshments are supplied. Bookers choose either a Tuesday or Thursday course and attend the five fixed dates listed for that course. The class is suitable for anyone over 18 who brings their own fabric, pattern and haberdashery.
