La Sonnambula – Vincenzo Bellini

Bellini’s luminous bel canto opera follows love, jealousy and mistaken identity toward reconciliation.

This new production of La sonnambula brings fresh theatrical and musical perspectives to Bellini’s tender story, in which trust is lost through misunderstanding and restored through love. John Wilkie directs and Stefano Boccacci conducts an opera that balances intimacy, playfulness and emotional force.
