1920s: Fashioning the Modern Woman

Clothing from the museum’s Fashion and Textile Collection shows how women’s dress changed in the 1920s alongside new technologies and social freedoms. Displays include an Egyptian-inspired dress, a beaded little black dress, a coat influenced by modern art and a less restrictive day dress. Admission includes the exhibition.
