Three Ghosts of Silvertown Screening

A free premiere screening of the recorded Newham Plays production Three Ghosts of Silvertown, staged live at the Tate Institute in August 2026.

The Tate Institute hosts a premiere screening of Three Ghosts of Silvertown, recorded live during Newham Plays' August 2026 run in the building. The production follows three ghosts from turn-of-the-century Silvertown whose stories collide with East London today, restaging the 1889 Silvertown Strike led by Eleanor Marx with a new ending. Set to a techno and house soundtrack, it blends spoken word and movement from professional creatives and young performers. Audiences watch the full recorded production in the space that inspired it.
