A free, family-friendly self-led trail across Ayrshire museums featuring knitted characters and stories from the area's past.
Time Travel Trails is a free, self-led family trail running across three East Ayrshire cultural venues: the Baird Institute, Burns House Museum and the Dick Institute. Participants follow the trails through the buildings to track down famous local figures and creatures from Ayrshire's past, meeting new knitted characters created by textile volunteers in a community project. The trails run as drop-in activities during normal venue opening hours.
