Dance4Water London — Cuban Salsa Classes
About
Volunteer-led Cuban salsa evenings combine a free introduction for absolute beginners with parallel classes for developing and more experienced dancers, raising funds for WaterAid.
Dance4Water London teaches Cuban salsa and Rueda de Casino through an evening of classes at Lancaster Hall Hotel. The programme body gives a free absolute beginners introduction from 18:30 to 19:00, beginners and intermediate groups from 19:00 to 20:00, then improvers and higher intermediate groups from 20:00 to 21:00. Beginners can join the flexible programme at any point; improvers should know the six basic moves from the earlier levels. Higher intermediate teaching is adapted to experienced dancers. You can come without a partner or advance registration, and partners rotate during class. Wear comfortable clothing; special dance shoes are not required. Electronic payments only. One paid hour is £10 and both paid classes in an evening cost £15. An eight-consecutive-week beginners pass is advertised at £55. All profits support WaterAid. Its component metadata is offset by one or two minutes from the class times written in the event body; the proposed evening uses the body’s 18:30–21:00 interval, which the current Meetup dates also publish.
