Winter Solstice

Chalice Well Garden opens for a Winter Solstice gathering with a midday meditation and fire ceremony with the Avalon Tribe Drummers.

Chalice Well marks the winter solstice with a day of gathering in the garden, welcoming the returning light as daylight hours begin to lengthen. At 9am there is a livestream meditation on Facebook, followed by a silent midday meditation at the Wellhead at 12pm and a Winter Solstice Fire Ceremony on the lower lawn at 12:30pm with the Avalon Tribe Drummers. The garden is open 10am–4:30pm (last entry 4pm), with free entry between 10am and 11:30am and refreshments available from 10am.
