Christmas Calligraphy at Neptune Colchester

Su of The Cambridge Calligrapher leads a relaxed morning workshop introducing modern calligraphy with a festive theme. Complete beginners learn to use a dip pen and nib, practise thick and thin strokes, work through the alphabet and join letters into words, then apply these skills to a festive project such as a poster, card or gift tags. The session adds embellishments including gilding paste, wax seals and gold foil, with all materials and a starter kit to take home included. Festive nibbles and drinks are served, and the class is for ages 18 and over.
