Leicester Drum Circle

A welcoming hand-drumming circle for beginners and all levels, led by community musician Rowan, with drums provided.

Sound Unearthed hosts an evening drum circle at Quad Studios where participants explore hand-drumming together. Rowan introduces the basics of hand-drumming before the group embarks on a shared rhythmic journey in a relaxed, non-judgemental setting. The session lasts 1 hour 15 minutes, is open to ages 16+, and all drums are provided, though attendees may bring their own. Complete beginners are explicitly welcomed, with the emphasis on connection rather than perfection.
