Cliftonville Farmers' Market

A volunteer-run monthly farmers' market on Walpole Green selling local Kent produce from dozens of independent stallholders.

Cliftonville Farmers' Market, founded in 2001 by the Cliftonville Residents Association, takes place on the last Sunday of every month (except December) behind the Walpole Bay Hotel on the Margate cliff top. Stallholders offer everything from meats, game and fish to cheese, bakery, preserves, vegan foods, drinks, plants and flowers, alongside coffee, ready-made food and even knife sharpening. Multiple past winner of Kent Farmers' Market of the Year, it is run entirely by volunteers and promotes good quality food at fair prices.
