Christmas Soap Making - 5+ yrs
About
A family soap-making programme inspired by The Tailor of Gloucester Christmas show, with a general 5+ session and a separate SEN family session. Both sessions make three festive soaps using a melt-and-pour process.
On 19 December, children aged 5+ can make three festive soaps in a general family session from 13:30 to 15:00 or a separate SEN family session from 10:00 to 11:30. Both sessions use a safe melt-and-pour process to explore colour, scent and texture and are inspired by The Tailor of Gloucester Christmas show. The SEN session is designed to be welcoming and inclusive, with activities adapted to participants and children able to work at their own pace. Parents and carers join and support children in the SEN session; parents are invited to stay in the general session. All materials are provided. The general session is in Long Kiln; the SEN session is in Long Kiln Room.
