The Aristocats (1970)

A posh family of cats is kidnapped by a scheming butler after being named in their owner's will, and must find their way home with help from a charming alley cat and his jazzy friends.

This hand-drawn animated comedy from 1970 follows Duchess and her kittens, who are abandoned in the countryside when the household butler schemes to claim their mistress's fortune. Their rescue comes courtesy of Thomas O'Malley, a streetwise tomcat whose musical pals help the pampered pets make their way back to Paris. Directed by Wolfgang Reitherman, the film features voice performances from Phil Harris and Eva Gabor.
