A two-session Saturday afternoon crochet class at Deeside Stitches teaching garment construction through making a baby cardigan.
This improver-level course runs over two Saturday afternoons and teaches the skills needed to crochet garments, working through the construction of the Baby Granny Go Round cardigan pattern by Claudine Powley of Iron Lamb. Participants learn pattern reading, sizing, gauge, raglan shaping, splitting for arms, adding sleeves, cuffs, collars and button bands. Attendees should know UK treble crochet and bring 4mm and 5mm hooks; materials, refreshments, notes and patterns are included in the fee.
