About

A two-day Christmas fair brings local makers, festive food and carols to Forde Abbey.

Browse handmade gifts from local traders inside the historic Abbey and marquee, with work including pottery, paintings, jewellery, metalwork, cosmetics and garments. Carols and mulled wine add to the festive programme, and the Abbot’s Table Café serves food and traditional cream teas. The £5 adult entry includes the gardens; children under 16 enter free. Tickets are limited and sold online only, with no admission tickets available on the day. The entrance fee is donated to Thorncombe First Responders. The fair has restricted access in parts of the Abbey; dogs and mobility scooters are not permitted inside the fair.
