About

A free evening panel discussion hosted by the Critical Minerals Africa Group and Covington & Burling on how Africa's energy bottlenecks affect critical minerals projects.

The Critical Minerals Africa Group and law firm Covington & Burling host a high-level panel discussion on how electricity shortages, weak transmission infrastructure and financing constraints are delaying African mining and processing projects. Speakers from mining, energy, finance and infrastructure — George Lwanda, Ben Donavan, Ana Hajduka and Eddy Kioni — will examine bankability, financing structures, legal frameworks and the power infrastructure needed to make mineral investments commercially viable. Registration is subject to host approval.
