About

An exhibition of Daido Moriyama’s large-format silkscreens, tracing his engagement with repetition, mass culture and the movement of everyday life in Tokyo.

The show brings together unique and small-edition silkscreens by Moriyama, made from works spanning his early projects in 1960s Tokyo through later images. It examines his interest in Andy Warhol, mass reproduction and the accelerated visual culture of postwar Japan, including street scenes, advertising and movement through the city.
