Hawksmoor on the Airwaves
About
Young people explore local histories of anti-racist activism through collage, printmaking and audio workshops, developing a collaborative radio work and memorial artwork.
Artist Holly Graham, supported by workshop facilitator Caleb Rensch, leads four half-term sessions for ages 12+. Participants use audio recording and interviewing, collage, poster-making and risograph printing to explore anti-racist activism, safe spaces and local history, developing a collaborative radio artwork and contributing to a public memorial. Each session begins and ends at Hawksmoor Youth Hub; Tuesday and Wednesday include visits to TACO!’s print studio and radio station. Lunch is provided; booking is essential.
