About

The CBSO and The Orchestral Qawwali Project combine Sufi poetry, Indian classical dance and symphonic music.

Conductor Melvin Tay and composer-arranger Rushil Ranjan lead the collaboration, with vocalist Abi Sampa and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. The programme joins Qawwali-inspired music with orchestral arrangement. B:Music names on the current bill include The Orchestral Qawwali Project. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
