Lewes Food Banks Christmas Collection

An all-day Christmas food collection outside Lewes supermarkets to support the town's food banks and community fridge.

Volunteers collect outside Lewes Aldi, Tesco and Waitrose throughout the day, asking shoppers to add one item from a seasonal shopping list to their shop and donate it at the stall. Donations go directly to the Fitzjohns, Landport and Malling food banks plus the Lewes Community Fridge. Collectors work single one-hour shifts, and those unable to attend can donate money to fund needed items.
