Crochet poppy flower workshop

An evening crochet workshop at the Bunch of Grapes in Pontypridd where confident crocheters learn to make a 3D poppy flower around wire.

This in-person workshop at the Bunch of Grapes in Pontypridd teaches participants to crochet a 3D poppy flower by working stitches around wire and assembling the pieces into a finished flower. It is aimed at crocheters who are already confident with basic stitches — a magic ring, single, double and treble stitch — and is not suitable for beginners. Yarn, wire and stitch markers are provided; attendees should bring their own crochet hooks (2.5mm, 3mm or 3.5mm), though some are available if needed. The session runs for two and a half hours in a relaxed atmosphere.
