About

Strengthen intermediate French through discussion of French and Francophone society, history, arts and culture.

For learners who have completed Level 3 or have comparable French experience, with at least B1 proficiency. Lessons combine discussion, authentic media and tailored grammar work to build confidence in speaking, listening and reading. Course materials are supplied and online resources support practice between classes. This is the autumn stage of a programme continuing through later terms. 10-week course; Thursday classes advertised 15:00–17:00. The full intake runs 2026-10-01 to 2026-12-03; contact the centre for the individual class calendar.
