Amal Ghosh: Selected works: 1982–2000

Ghosh moved from Calcutta to London in 1958 after studying at the Government College of Art and Craft. The selected paintings draw on different visual traditions without resolving them into a single cultural identity, and include the distinctive figures and shifting pictorial spaces that shaped his later work.
