Welsh National Opera performs Puccini's La bohème in a monochrome 1930s Paris-inspired production at New Theatre Oxford for one night.

Welsh National Opera brings Puccini's La bohème to New Theatre Oxford for a single performance. The opera follows four young artists in the Latin Quarter of Paris, and the meeting of Rodolfo and the seamstress Mimì, whose love blooms amid poverty and is all too brief. This acclaimed production is set in a stark, monochrome world inspired by 1930s Paris, and runs 2 hours 20 minutes including interval. It is sung in Italian with English and Welsh surtitles and contains flashing/strobe lighting.
