DDOS present: The Accrington Pals

A lyrical drama inspired by the true story of the Accrington Pals, set against the backdrop of the First World War.

The play is a moving and deeply human drama inspired by the true story of the “Pals” battalions—groups of friends who enlisted together to fight for their country. While set against the backdrop of the First World War, the narrative focuses less on the men at the front and more on the women they left behind. It captures the courage and resilience of ordinary people and the lasting impact of conflict on a community.
