Hathaleen: The Unexpected Journey to Palestine

A satirical black comedy follows a Zionist romantic who travels to Palestine to try to reunite with his pro-Palestinian former girlfriend.

Writer-director Louis Linsey draws on his time teaching and supporting protective presence programmes in West Bank refugee camps. The play pays tribute to Palestinian activist and English teacher Awdah Hathaleen. The company says it is raising funds for his family and for actor Salsabil Al-Masri’s family in Gaza.
