The King’s Life Guard

The Household Cavalry’s mounted Guard Change takes place outdoors on Horse Guards Parade on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

At 11:00 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, soldiers of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment conduct the Guard Change on Horse Guards Parade as mounted sentry duties are transferred. The museum page separately notes hourly sentry changes from 10:00 to 16:00. No individual troopers or duration are published. The museum’s group-visit PDF lists short inspections on other days; those distinct variants are not included in this Guard Change schedule.
