The Watsons

Stage2 presents Laura Wade's play The Watsons, a playful completion of Jane Austen's unfinished novel, at the Crescent Theatre's Ron Barber Studio.

Stage2 stages Laura Wade's The Watsons, based on Jane Austen's unfinished novel. Emma Watson returns to the marriage market, but when Austen abandons the manuscript, a modern-day playwright steps into the 19th century to finish the story, sparking a battle for control between creator and character. The production runs about 2 hours 20 minutes and contains live gun shots, stroboscopic lighting, violent scenes and adult themes.
