About

The Bird of a Thousand Voices is an immersive art installation by conceptual artist Boris Acket, presented as part of the Doncaster Festival of Light.

Inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's sketches of a dream machine designed to make humankind fly, the installation combines sound, light, movement, and kinetic sculpture to create a striking immersive experience. Boris Acket's work explores systems that shape perception, utilizing natural phenomena such as wind, water, gravity, and light. The installation is presented in the city-centre setting of the Doncaster Corn Exchange.
