Architect Sir David Chipperfield joins the gallery's Executive Director for an evening of conversation marking 15 years since The Hepworth Wakefield opened.

Sir David Chipperfield returns to The Hepworth Wakefield for a special evening of conversation marking 15 years since the gallery opened. In discussion with Executive Director Olivia Colling, he will reflect on the inspirations behind the building's form, its relationship to the River Calder and Wakefield's industrial heritage, and delivering Turner Contemporary in Margate in the same year. He will also discuss architecture's role in shaping civic identity, drawing on his work with Fundación RIA in Galicia and long-term thinking about place.
