Environmental Impact of Digital Conference 2027

A one-day in-person conference on digital environmental sustainability for researchers, staff and practitioners in higher education, cultural heritage and sustainability.

The University of Oxford's gardens, libraries and museums, the Centre for Digital Scholarship and the Cheng Kar Shun Digital Hub at Jesus College partner to deliver this conference on digital environmental sustainability. It covers a wide range of subject areas that use digital approaches and technologies combined with methods to reduce their environmental impact. Aimed at graduate and research students, researchers, staff and practitioners, the day offers knowledge development and networking opportunities, and includes a vegetarian lunch with vegan and gluten-free options plus tea and coffee breaks. It expands on a previous event held at the Weston Library in 2025.
