The Czech Centre London presents Ondřej Hudeček's feature debut Poberta, a blend of black comedy, crime and satire set in a south Moravian town during the pandemic, where a small-time thief released from prison finds his skills unexpectedly useful to struggling locals. The 118-minute film stars Matyáš Řezníček, Václav Neužil, Stanislav Majer, Denisa Barešová and Eva Vrbková. The screening is followed by a Q&A with director Ondřej Hudeček and actor Václav Neužil, and forms part of the Czechoslovak New Wave season and the 30th Made in Prague festival.
