Volunteer at Whitley Bay junior parkrun

GoodGym Newcastle volunteers help marshal and scan barcodes at the Whitley Bay junior parkrun so children can run 2km safely.

GoodGym Newcastle is organising a volunteering session at Whitley Bay junior parkrun, helping young runners complete a safe 2km run. Roles include marshals and barcode scanners, and the session runs from 08:45 to 09:35 on Sunday 25 October 2026. Volunteers should be registered with parkrun with a barcode number and email whitleybayjuniors@parkrun.com to join the roster. The start point is the helipad opposite Crab and Waltzer, and the activity is led by Aimee.
