Forest School for families with 2–5 year olds at Swanwick Lakes

A six-week outdoor Forest School programme for children aged 2–5 and their participating adults.

Each two-hour session gives children and their adults time to explore, discover, construct, play and learn in the Swanwick Lakes woods. Activities are flexible around the children’s interests and use natural materials and tools; campfire cooking is among the published activities, and drinks are provided. The six sessions run Fridays from 6 November to 11 December 2026, 10am–12 noon. Meet at the Study Centre. Online booking is essential and closes at 1pm on Thursday 5 November. The programme costs £39 for all six sessions. Everyone should wear long sleeves, long trousers, sturdy closed-toe shoes or boots and weather-appropriate clothing. Assistance dogs only; people with limited mobility should contact the organiser in advance.
