Young Adult Literature Convention (YALC) 2026

A weekend for young-adult fiction readers with author panels, writing workshops, book signings, publishing advice and booksellers.

The programme includes conversations about romance, dystopia, horror, fantasy and graphic novels, alongside creative workshops and an industry arena for aspiring writers. Alice Oseman, Juno Dawson and Patrick Ness are among the announced authors. Free talks and workshops within the ticketed convention operate on a first-come basis; workshops last 45 minutes and hold around 30 people. Guest signings and other activities may have queues or separate conditions.
