A Season of Flowers Exhibition
About
A temporary exhibition at Brodsworth Hall exploring floral displays, garden stories and objects decorated with flowers.
The exhibition runs from 28 March to 1 November 2026. Visitors can see Sylvia Grant-Dalton’s recreated garden room and a special dining-room floral display, hear oral histories from people connected with Brodsworth, and explore historic photographs and floral objects. Floristry students from Doncaster College created a display inspired by a Dutch still-life painting in the collection. The exhibition is included with standard admission; English Heritage members enter free. Dearne Valley Camera Club created photographs recreating historical portraits of Brodsworth’s gardeners, displayed alongside portraits of current garden staff and volunteers.
