Horsenden Farm: Volunteering, Animals, Pizza, Craft Beer — Green Task
About
GoodGym volunteers join Friends of Horsenden Hill for a two-hour conservation and gardening session at Horsenden Farm, with optional lunch and farm-brewed beer afterwards.
GoodGym Ealing is hosting a green volunteering task supporting Friends of Horsenden Hill at Horsenden Farm. Tasks vary with the weather and can include building enclosures for goats and pigs, trimming hedges, moving compost or manure, woodchipping paths and tidying driveways, with instructions and tools provided and no experience needed. The session runs 10am to 12pm, though volunteers may stay until 2pm; afterwards there is an option to join a team lunch with pizzas from the clay oven, coffee, bakery treats and beer from the on-site nano brewery. The group meets in the farm courtyard at 10am, and participants should bring gardening gloves and layers for thorny plants.
