Arcangelo New Ensemblists
About
An intimate recital at Stationers' Hall marking the first public outing of the latest Arcangelo New Ensemblists cohort during the 2027 London Handel Festival.
This recital is the third and final performance of the 2027 Arcangelo Residency and the first public appearance of the newest cohort of New Ensemblists, emerging period-instrument players brought together by the Arcangelo scheme. It takes place in Stationers' Hall, one of the City of London's oldest surviving livery halls, whose wood panelling and stained glass date largely from the seventeenth century. The full programme is yet to be announced but will showcase the ensemble's talents in music connected to Handel's world. Jonathan Cohen directs from the harpsichord.
