Daniel Rachel - This Ain't Rock n Roll

Author Daniel Rachel discusses his book This Ain't Rock 'n' Roll, on rock music's flirtations with Nazi imagery, in conversation followed by a signing.

The Heath Bookshop welcomes back Birmingham-born author and former musician Daniel Rachel to discuss his latest non-fiction book, This Ain't Rock 'n' Roll. The book examines how, over seven decades, rock figures from the Beatles and the Rolling Stones to Siouxsie Sioux, Sid Vicious, Lady Gaga and Kanye West have engaged with the imagery and ideology of the Third Reich. The event features a conversation with Lyle Bignon (the page also mentions Catherine from the bookshop) and is followed by a book-signing, running for one hour.
