Family Event "Creepy Creatures and Nasty Nature" - Woolley Firs, Maidenhead
About
A Halloween-themed family day at Woolley Firs with a spooky wildlife trail, games and crafts inspired by owls, bats, spiders and other creatures.
The Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust hosts a Halloween family event at Woolley Firs Environmental Education Centre during October half term. Families follow a trail around the site to discover the 'creepy' side of wild creatures such as owls, bats, spiders and centipedes, with indoor and outdoor games and activities. Children can become spiders in the woods catching prey, explore what lives in a dark cupboard at the centre, and make bat crafts to take home. Activities take 1.5–3 hours, are aimed at ages 4–12, and children must be accompanied by an adult; the price includes sign-up to a BBOWT expert-led workshop.
