Shift/Shape Workshops

A four-session collaborative painting and drawing workshop led by Sophie Knight, using playful prompts to extend, connect, repeat, obscure, transform and respond to a shared large-scale painting.

Across four weekly sessions, participants work collaboratively with an existing large-scale painting through playful prompts. The group adds, extends, connects, repeats, obscures, transforms and responds to the work; the final session reflects on how the painting changed and the marks, ideas and encounters that became part of the finished collaborative piece. The organiser asks participants to book only if they can attend all four sessions.
