A hands-on puppetry workshop for children aged 5–11, making puppets from everyday materials and devising a short performance.

Tiny Giants is a playful, hands-on puppetry workshop for children aged 5–11 run by Cracking Slate at Trestle Arts Base. Children create their own puppets from found materials such as newspaper, tin foil, plastic scraps and old socks, developing a character inspired by their chosen material. Once the puppets are complete, the group brings them to life through drama games and storytelling, devising a short performance in which their characters set off on an adventure through an unfamiliar landscape. Each child leaves with their own handmade puppet.
