Glasgow Jazz Club presents Deceptive Lizard

Five-piece jazz-rock ensemble Deceptive Lizard launch their debut album at Glasgow Jazz Club's new home, Anderson's, on 3 November 2026.

Glasgow Jazz Club hosts Deceptive Lizard, a five-piece led and composed by bassist Brodie Laird-Jarvie, playing high-energy jazz-rock where spontaneous improvisation meets indie-band momentum. The gig celebrates the release of the band's debut self-titled album, with the written material moulded live into what the organisers describe as a raw, immersive experience. Doors open at 7:30 PM with music from 8:00 PM in the basement venue; the evening runs about two and a half hours and is for ages 18 and over.
