About
Janet Gough gives an illustrated talk on 900 years of stained glass in England's cathedrals, from medieval glass to contemporary commissions.
Janet Gough, the Church of England's Director of Church Buildings, gives a highly illustrated talk tracing 900 years of stained glass, featuring at least one window from each of England's 43 cathedrals plus Westminster Abbey and St George's Chapel, Windsor. The talk spans medieval masterpieces, the Reformation, the nineteenth-century Gothic Revival and contemporary commissions, and follows the Divine Light book and nationwide campaign by the Association of English Cathedrals.
