SAFE (Abridged) Workshops
About
A six-week family enablement programme for parents and carers of autistic children, with a follow-up session in March.
SAFE (Abridged) is a six-week programme for parents and carers of autistic children, offering a space to reflect on family life and relationships, understand their child's strengths and needs, and build resources to cope with challenges and improve family wellbeing. Sessions are small group meetings (8-10 participants) combining presentations with facilitated discussion, with handouts provided. Attendance at all sessions is encouraged as learning is cumulative, and a pre-session meeting and a September review are included. The spring cohort runs on Wednesday mornings from 13 January to 24 February 2027, with a follow-up session on 17 March.
