Conservation day at Park Wood Nature Reserve

Volunteer days at Park Wood include fence repairs and ride management across the reserve’s woodland, grassland and limestone pavement.

Tasks may include fence repairs and ride management in Park Wood. The work takes place over woodland, grassland and limestone pavement with small rocky outcrops and tussocks. Wear outdoor clothing and suitable footwear, and bring lunch and refreshments; there are no toilet facilities and dogs are not permitted. Booking is required, and the day may be cancelled if poor weather is forecast.
