Rebel Moves: Polite Society

Bath Film Festival screens Nida Manzoor's action-comedy Polite Society, preceded by a live martial arts demonstration from a local club.

As part of Rebel Moves, Bath Film Festival's celebration of young people in sport who challenge expectations, this screening pairs Nida Manzoor's Polite Society with a live martial arts demonstration from a local club. The film follows Ria Khan, an aspiring stuntwoman who launches an outrageous mission to stop her older sister's wedding, blending action, comedy and coming-of-age storytelling. The martial artists will introduce the film, exploring how martial arts builds confidence, resilience and community. The event forms part of BFI's Rip It Up season.
